TEXA has been operating since 1986. We design, manufacture and service specialised electronic devices for fruit growers and electronics used in special vehicles.
This website presents only a selected part of our products. A large share of our devices is manufactured to special order for vehicle conversion manufacturers, system integrators and industry partners, and is therefore not offered for direct sale.
The company was founded in 1986. Under the regulations of that time, it initially operated as a craft workshop named “Wyrób i Naprawa Urządzeń Elektronicznych - Kazimierz Targalski”.
The activity started with the production of the AVI-21 apple scab development signalling device. The device received an attestation from the Research Institute of Pomology and Floriculture in Skierniewice. Several further versions were developed later. The last produced model of this line was AVI-2001.
In 1998, cooperation with vehicle conversion companies began, which resulted in extending the product range to automotive electronics and devices for special vehicles.
The last produced model of this apple scab signalling device line. The device is no longer manufactured.
The workshop “Wyrób i Naprawa Urządzeń Elektronicznych - Kazimierz Targalski” is established. Production of the AVI-21 apple scab development signalling device begins.
The company name is changed to “Zakład Elektroniczny TEXA - Kazimierz Targalski”.
Cooperation with vehicle conversion companies begins, extending the scope of production to electronics for special vehicles.
From January, the company operates as “TEXA s.c. Jakub i Kazimierz Targalski”.
From 1 February, the business is conducted under the name “TEXA Jakub Targalski”.
Today TEXA combines several areas of work: devices for fruit growers, electronics for special vehicles, production of small and medium series of devices, and service of its own products. AVI-GAS devices for monitoring controlled atmosphere in fruit storage facilities are an important part of the company’s activity.
In the vehicle electronics area, we design and manufacture control systems, microprocessor controllers, electronic modules, LED lamps and intercoms. We also provide one-off or dedicated solutions matched to specific customer requirements.
